Henry Musabe: A pick of Exciting talents in the Entebbe Soccer Camp.

 

After a week of Juniors’ football at Kisubi Technical playground during the 10th edition of the Entebbe Holiday Boys and Girls Football Soccer Camp, I bring you some of the promising -Special talents that braced the tournament.

 

The previous editions have produced now National team players, StarTimes Uganda Premier league players, FBL and regional league that include; Travis Mutyaba, Rogers Mato, Andrew Kawooya,Mugisha Rogers, Sabili Yasin, Ssekajja Davis, Tom Kakaire, Ziwa Vincent, Nsereko Muhammed, Remy Cabella, Isma Kisitu, Kokas John, Alex Pender, among others.

 

I have critically looked out for potential prospects from U-9 to U-20, that i believe can make it as far as the earlier graduates depending on their natural abilities and what they put up.

 

Agamire Ivan aka Kanda – Friends FC

A University Football league champion with UMU Nkozi played for Friends FC in the tournament. He was joy to watch with his magical left foot, ability to beat opponents and good at shooting.

 

Navio Mugerwa – Five Stars U-11

At just 10, he is confident in possession and makes things happen for the team with his soft left foot.

 

Kennedy Sewankambo- Nkumba Universty U-20

One of the best creative players in the tournament, uses the ball well,a typical no 10 that has ability to beat opponents and gifted with a superb last touch.

 

Obere Mustafa – Catalonia SA (U-11)

At just 10 years, Obere has a Lions heart, he fights for the team to win. A P5 pupil at Mivule P/S.

 

Laden Musoke – Nkumba University U-20

A defensive midfield player who loves using the ball, very calm and composed. His ball distribution is superb.

 

Kimera Kimmich – Lweza Starlets (U-20)

Blessed with a good structure, I loved his calmness in defence, his versatility to play at center back, right back and midfield. He comfortably plays with both feet, it was easy for me to identify him.

 

Isma Mugamba – Five Stars FC -U20

No doubt the best goal keeper of the tournament; good game reading, made important saves for the hosts and his ability to save penalties that he showcased in the final against Nkumba University.

 

Sekyanzi Patrick – Ubuntu Foundation U-20

The workholic defensive midfielder was looked solid, very energetic and his ball winning abilities, it was to identify him. The E.A schools champion with Kibuli SS could easily be picked, with his good passing after winning the ball.

 

Arafat Dafara – Ubuntu Foundation U-20

He wasn’t started for the first group game, but given chance in the second game, showed his quality using the ball in the central attacking midfield and on the flanks.

 

Kiprotich Kalvin- Mivule Forest Park Academy U-17

Knick-named Kipro by close Pals, the silky central Midfielder was another eye catching player with his calmness in possession, ball control, passing, and last touch

 

Osama Hakim

In his final year in primary, the 13 year old central midfielder was so calm in possession, with great vision and accurate in his passing.

 

Muhumuza Lawrence -Streamline SA

The 15 year old left footed midfielder was another young star to watch in the U-15 category.

 

Patrick Ouke – Lweza Starlets SA U-17

The 16 year old central midfielder was joy to watch dictating play, creating a couple of goals for the U-17 champions.

 

Asiimwe Musa -Lweza Starlets SA U-17

One of the already established young Stars in the tournament, the left footed genius lived to many’s expectations creating and scoring important goals for his team to win the the title

 

Kyle Lucky -Tabu Sports Academy (U-15)

An exciting left footed winger. Also a P7 pupil at Hima Primary,he often made things happen to help ho team win the title.

 

Eria Mushabe 13 – Tabu Sports Academy (U-15)

A P7 pupil at Hima Primary School in Kasese, Another attacking Midfielder who was joy to watch in possession.

 

Alex Muwanga – Kick it SA U-9

There was no surprise he was named the most valuable player on the final day, he was eye catching often loved using the ball on his feet.

 

Ronald Katongole – Bugabo SA U-13

A creative player that uses the ball well, that loves covering much distance

 

Jovan Kyeyune -SOM U-11

Comfortable on the ball, good ball control and his passing abilities, he promised much.

 

Turyabwe Lewis-The Lions U-9

At an early age, he is very hungry for goals and had got alot of quality infront of goal.

 

John Rich – Garuga SA U-13

Another promising goalkeeer i would love to watch in his late teens.

 

Patrick Serugo – Lweza Starlets U-17

The young goalkeeer is joy to watch, very confident and a ball playing goal keeper who loves using the feet more than the hands

 

Brian Oswaludo- Five Stars FA U-20

Last but not least, another exciting attacking midfielder, who can also play on the flanks, his creativity and shooting abilities brings him on the list.
