Former UPPC FC defender Mubiru big promise after completing Maroons move.

Defender Faizo Mubiru expressed his delight signing for a team he termed as his dream club in the startimes Uganda premier league.

The 29 year old, joins Maroons on a two year contract from Startimes Uganda Premier league side Entebbe UPPC FC that he helped earn promotion to the StarTimes Uganda premier league in the 2024/2025 season.

Am happy joining this club because it’s a historical team, it’s an organisation club, this club stood with when I returned from Profesional football with an injury, they helped me with the recovery process, it’s a very good team, it’s a place I call home, am going to give my best to the club so that we can achieve together and atleast we make it to the continent.

In an interview with this site, the former Protap FC defender thanked the coaching staff for the chance to wear the Maroon shirt.

Mubiru, who featured for Entebbe UPPC FC I the qualification to SUPL season, is a left-footed defender who is comfortable playing at left back and as a central defender.

The experienced defender played for Protap FC in Malaysia and Kiyinda Boys before joining Entebbe UPPC FC.
