Uganda Cranes star Nicholas Wadada has agreed terms to return to St Mary’s stadium after a six year spell in the Tanzania premier League.
According to this site reliable sources, the 29 old right back has penned a two year deal with the 6-time(s) League champions that will keep him at Kitende up to 2026.
Wadada, who guided the Venoms to the 2018 title as captain, will wear the number 14 shirt he donned at Kitende before moving to Azam.
When contacted about his return to Kitende, a happy Wadada stated.
I return to a place I call home, I was here, we achieved but am more hungry for success because this is a big club that demands alot and am very ready for the challenge.
When asked about a potential Cranes return, ” Am just 29, what am going to give to Vipers will determine my fate at the national team but am very ready to fight for my place.” He stated.

The roving right back, who formely captained the Venoms during his stint from 2015, won the Uganda Cup that season after defeating Onduparaka FC.
The workholic right back joined Vipers then Bunamwaya in 2010 from St Mary’s Kitende until 2013 when they changed the name to Vipers SC where he played until 2018.
Wadada who played last season in the Tanzania premier league, guided his side Sigida Big stars FC to a 11th position finish with 33 points last season.
Wadada represented his country at the U-20 and U-23 levels, before he was promoted to the senior team in 2013.
In 2015–16 , he became captain of Vipers SC and he won the Uganda Cup that season after defeating Onduparaka FC in the final. He played 34 games and scored 2 goals.
In 2016–17, Wadada captained Vipers SC team that played in the CAF Confederation Cup against Platinum Stars of South Africa. His club finished third in the Premier League. He played 35 games and netted 2 goals.
Wadada lifted the Premier league title with Vipers SC, his second trophy as captain in 2018. He played 36 games and finished runners-up in the Uganda Cup.
He joined Tanzanian club Azam in 2018.
In 2010 at 16 years he was a backup player in the right-back position in few games that season.
In the 2011–12 season, Wadada became a regular player and was part of the team that finished runners-up in the 2011–12 Uganda Super League.
In 2012–13, Wadada played 20 league games while Bunamwaya finished third in the Uganda Premier League.
In 2013–14 season his Club Bunamwaya FC changed its name to Vipers SC. Wadada maintained his first place in the team despite Vipers SC finishing in fourth position that season. He started in 32 games and scored 3 goals.
In 2014–15,Wadada at only 20 years, he became a key player and played a very big role in winning the Uganda Premier League. He played 30 games and scored 4 goals.
In 2015–16 , he became captain of Vipers SC and he won the Uganda Cup that season after defeating Onduparaka FC in the final. He played 34 games and scored 2 goals.
In 2016–17, Wadada captained Vipers SC team that played in the CAF Confederation Cup against Platinum Stars of South Africa. His club finished third in the Premier League. He played 35 games and netted 2 goals.
