
Masaza Cup: Kyambadde Boasts Buwekula Technical Staff, As they Target 1st Trophy.
Buwekula Ssaza team manager Joseph Kyambadde has confirmed the technical team that will handle the county for the 2023 Masaza Cup tournament at function held today Tuesday at Nakasero in Kampala.
The addition of Coach Ronald Ssali as technical director, was the major highlight who crosses from Buleemezi to join the Mubende based county.
The re-appointment of Royal Giant High School coach Mulindwa as head coach for the third consecutive season at Buwekula, is a big boast to the county royalists after guiding the school to their 1st ever East Africa secondary schools championship to be held in Kigali.

Mulindwa welcomed the appointment with open arms. ” I am humbled to work again with Buwekula, the major focus is to build a formidable team that will challenge and win the competition this year.” He stated.
Frank Kitindidde is retained as first assistant coach and Prosper Soccer academy’s Leo Sekamatte will work as second assistant.
Ben Kalama has replaced Hamza Muwonge as goal keeping coach.
Kyambadde believes this is a year the county people should be very expectant.
” Out target this season is very clear, is to win the title, the appointments today can testify and the recruitment which we are still doing. We shall enter camp on Friday to prepare very well for our first match.”
New technical director Ronald Ssali who has crossed from Buleemezi was happy with the new assignment speaking at the function.
“I thank Buwekula management team for the opportunity to work with them. We are hopeful that we shall do a great job togather. I urge the fans to give us support and together we shall manage to achieve our goal. I promise them an attractive brand of football.” Ssali stated according to Swift Sports Uganda.
Buwekula placed in Masengere group along with Two-time champions Buddu, Kyaggwe, Kyaddondo, Buluuli and Kooki.
Buwekula will kick off this year’s campaign away from home to Kyaddondo on 2nd July 2023
Masaza Cup tournament will officially kick off on 24th June 2023, when holders Busiro will be welcoming three -time champions Mawokota at Wankulukuku.
Buwekula will this year host their games at St.Peter Technical, contrary to the usaul Kasenyi grounds.
