Mugisha Xmas Cup 2026 Preparations Kick Off With Successful First Meeting in Kisubi

Mugisha Xmas Cup is sponsored by Mr. Mugisha Thaddeus Luzindana, an ex-footballer and organized by the Kisubi Ex-Internationals Association.

This year’s competition is scheduled to kick off on 14th November 2026 with matches to be played every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“I would like to first thank my committee members who are ready to serve the tournament, and also extend my thanks to the team managers who turned up in large numbers plus the media led by Sports256 Media,” Dan Ntale noted.

He further assured participants that all announced awards will be given out as promised.

The committee confirmed that a Man of the Match award will be given in every game and matchday balls will be provided, although Chairman Dan kindly requested teams to come with at least one ball each.

In a gesture of togethernes , team managers and attendees were treated to refreshments and drinks.

The moment provided an opportunity share ideas and further interaction among team representatives, committee members and the media in a relaxed atmosphere.

He concluded by stating that the final meeting will be held to conduct the draws for only those teams that will have completed the registration fee of UGX 200,000.
