KCCA FC’s Majwega Emotionally Expresses Desire To Return To the National Team.

Kampala Capital City Football Club versatile player Brian Majwega has used social media to emotionally express his burning desire to return to the Cranes good after a while.

The experienced left footed winger calm left back, earlier apologized to the FUFA president and the federation (FUFA) for what he stated as his misconduct and he is hopeful he could represent his country.

In his statement, the 29 year old confirmed he checks each summoned Cranes squad if he could find his name.

” I have always been asked by many people if I miss playing for the National team. Yes I do and its something I hope to keep doing if a chance comes.”

” Am not yet retired and always pray to the almighty to be considered to serve my nation once again. Whenever the Cranes team is summoned, I check to see if am on the list. That’s the spirit. I work hard for that everyday.” He posted.

Majwega’s letter addressed to Federation head Magogo earlier read like this.

Dear sir,
RE: APOLOGY FOR MISCONDUCT.
I hereby humbly and from the bottom of my heart write sending my sincere apologies due to the above reference.

Indeed, there is alot of things that have been said and done by me and I take responsibilityfor themand any subsequent damages such as misconduct might have caused but I would like to beg for pardon for forgiveness from you sir for anything wrong I said and did. I promise not to repeat the Same .

I am looking forward for another chance to work hard , faithfully and hand in hand with the federationof uganda football associations and the nation at large for the betterment of uganda football.
I would be glad in case my apology is considered and given another chance to serve.

The letter was copied to the team manager of the Uganda Cranes, the FUFA Chief executive officer Edgar Watson and the federation disciplinary committee.

Majwega hoping to return, was first invited to the national team in 2014 by now the head coach of the Cranes Milutin Micho for the African Nations championship.

The former Azam player, is one of the most experienced players in the Morley Byekwaso Squad at Lugogo.

He rejoined KCCA FC from URA FC but had also played for Tanzanian side Azam, Simba SC, Maroons and Standard High School Zana FC.
