MASAZACUP2026:”I AM HAPPY TO RETURN HOME” – COACH FELIX SSEKABUUZA KAWOOYA

Gomba Ssaza FC, the record champions, have unveiled Head Coach Felix Ssekabuuza Kawooya ahead of the new Masaza season.

Coach Felix returns to Gomba, where he previously won their 5th title in 2020.

“I am happy to return home to serve my people,” he said during his unveiling at Green View Gardens and Restaurant, Kanoni Gomba.

Coach Felix is the defending champions of Masaza Cup with Buwekuula, where he spent two seasons.

He has now won 6 Masaza titles; 2 times with Gomba and Ssingo, and one each with Busiro and Buwekuula.

Gomba Ssaza aims to secure their 6th title this season, despite a disappointing performance last season where they failed to progress to the quarterfinals, finishing fourth in Bulange Group with 9 points.

He will serve under a new committee headed by ladies, with Jane Namatovu as Chairman, Resty Namugema Mbatidde as Team Manager, Mr Dan Mwesigye as Patron, Wilber Tubusweke as Treasurer, and Ibrahim Bbosa as Public Relations Officer.
