UFL:MUTEESA I ROYAL UNIVERSITY ELIMINATES DEFENDING CHAMPIONS TO ADVANCE TO SEMI-FINALS
Muteesa I Royal University has eliminated defending champions UMU Nkozi from the University Football League, despite a 2-2 aggregate draw.
The Royal Lions started strongly, with Serugo creating an early cross, but UMU Nkozi goalkeeper Kibungo was equal to the task.
The visitors settled into the game, but Muteesa I held firm.

Obedgiu had also scored, but his effort was ruled offside.
In the second half, Ali Lutwama converted a penalty, awarded after Kibungo fouled Patrick Busuulwa, to send the Masaka fans into celebrations.

UMU Nkozi pushed for an equalizer, but Muteesa I’s defence held strong.
The hosts Muteesa I Royal kept more numbers in their own half to protect the lead.
UMU’s Ronald Obedgiu had a great opportunity to level the game, but his shot went inches wide.
