Staduims Cleared To Host The FUFA Women Super League 2026/27

The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League 2026/27 season kicks off this weekend with all 12 teams in action.

Ahead of the big kickoff, FUFA has confirmed the venues that will host the top-tier women’s league games this season, with several teams changing home grounds and adopting double-header arrangements with their affiliated men’s clubs.

For starters, defending champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC have left the Valley Playground in Kawempe and will now host their home games at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Meanwhile, She Corporate FC will continue to host at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, where they hosted last season.

Similarly, KCCA Women FC, formerly Kampala Queens FC will stay at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Furthermore, the Lubaga-based side, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC has left St. Gerald’s Stadium and will now share the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo where their men’s affiliate NEC FC hosts its games.

Elsewhere, She Maroons FC will use the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku due to the poor playing surface at Luzira Prisons Ground.

Moving on to Makerere University WFC , they will host at Nsibirwa Playground still within the Makerere University premises.

Debutants and 2025 FUFA Women Elite League champions URA Ladies FC will welcome opponents at the refurbished Hamz Stadium Nakivubo.

The Tax Collectors have bolstered their squad with experienced players Patience Nabulobi, Zaina Namuleme and Shamusa Najjuma ahead of their maiden top-flight campaign.

At the same time, Lady Doves FC has retained the Katusabe Dove Playground in Masindi while Rines SS WFC will maintain their base at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

St. Noa Girls FC from Zana will also stick with the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Another debutant, Jinja United WFC, will introduce top-tier football at the Iganga Ssaza Grounds.

Finally, Amus College WFC will keep its own turf ,Amus College Stadium in Amus.

This season also comes with a change in kickoff time from 10:00 AM last season to 4:00 PM with several games set to be played as double-headers with StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixtures.
