BUL FC Sign USSSA Games 2025 Star From JIPRA.

BUL FC have confirmed the capture of exciting left footed winger Simon Achidi on a three-year contract from Jinja Progressive Academy.

Achidi who was impressive during the Uganda Secondary Schools Association(USSSA) games held in Ngora, attracted many suitors that included; SUPL Clubs, FUFA big league teams and as well, interest from clubs playing outside the country.

A happy teenage, expressed his joy signing for a top tier club something he termed as a dream come true.

I thank God because this is a dream come true. I have always dreamt of playing top-flight football, and here I am. I love this team, and I am here to achieve big goals with the club.” Achidi told Bulfc.co.ug

BUL FC head coach Abby Kikomeko welcomed the 19 year old, who he believes has the talent to develop.

Achidi is a young, promising, and talented player. Our main goal is to develop younger players, and he joins a number of them from Jinja Progressive Academy, our main feeder school”.

I believe his character and attitude suit well in our team.” Kikomeko added.

Achidi a student at Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) was among the best talents in the USSSA Games held earlier this year in Ngora Eastern Uganda a performance that handed him a place in Henry Musabe -my best XI of the tournament.

Achidi is a left footed winger, who prefers playing on the right of attack, but can as well play on the left and behind the striker for his creativity.

The three deal, will keep the teenager with the Eastern Giants until 2028.

Achidi began his football journey at Abafra Soccer Academy in Kiryadongo district. He then passed through Erima Soccer Academy before joining JIPRA.

The young star gifted with natural ability to beat opponents, power, shooting and eye on goal, managed three goals before his school was chased from the 2025 USSSA games in Ngora.
