Buddo Senior Secondary School and Gombe High School have won their respective quarter final games to join St Mary’s Kitende and Kibuli that won their morning games in the semifinals of the USSSA 2022 games .
Team captain Innocent Media scored late for 2018 National Champions Buddo to dump out Kampala champions Kawempe Muslim 1-0 in the third semi final game.
In the 11am fixture, Kibuli SS knocked out hosts Mvara SS 3-1 to book a semi-final tie with holders St Mary’s Kitende.
Kitende defeated debutants Mukono Kings High School 4-0 in the first quarter final game of the day at Greenlight Stadium.
Elvis Ngondwe, forward Oloya Habib (brace) and defender Torach Rogers scored the goals for Kitende.
Travis Mutyaba’s St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School will look on to revenge against Buddo SS a school they lost to 1-0 in the group game.
Record holders and defending Champions Kitende will tussle it out with fellow big boys Kibuli SS who were so impressive in the quarter final clash against Mvara SS for a place in the final.
The semifinal games will be played tomorrow Thursday at Barifa Stadium.
The fours schools Qualified for the East Africa secondary Schools to be held in Tanzania late this year.
