Lwesibawa Ready To Ramble at FBL Side Kitara

 

Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa has expressed his readiness to guide Kitara Football Club to the StarTimes Uganda Premier league after putting pen on paper.

 

Lwesibawa joined Kitara from Gaddafi Modern FC on a short six months contract with an option of extending it after June, 2023.

 

On arrival he stated; ” I believe this is the right choice and place for me to be, Kitara is an exciting club and I want to pledge my hard work and commitment to them. I love the fans, their passion and want to thank the club president Deo Kasozi for giving me this opportunity . I will give them my best and most importantly help my team return to the top flight.”

 

Lwesibawa was welcomed by the club deputy CEO, Timothy Adyeri Kato at the club offices in Hoima, on Thursday evening.

 

The experienced winger was in attendance of the team’s 2-1 victory over Adjumani on Thursday evening at Kigaaya play grounds.

 

The pacy winger is expected to join the rest of the teammates after the first round of the FUFA big league.

 

He becomes Kitara’s first signing of Kitara in the January window and joins with huge experience having previously played for SC Villa, Tooro United FC, Express FC and the Uganda Sand Cranes.

 

The Royals beat a couple of SUPL and FBL Clubs for Lwesibawa’s signature.

 

He brings competition to the flanks with Davis Ssali, Lazaro Bwambale and Stewart Akugizibwe already available.

 

Besides his electric pace, Lwesibawa is known for his set piece deliveries, leadership and goal scoring attributes and will be a valuable addition to the already strong squad.

 

Kitara are currently on top of the FBL table with 30 points one ahead of second placed Mbarara City.
