
Nairobi City Stars Bolster Squad with Ugandan Talent James Ssemambo
Kenyan football, Nairobi City Stars Football Club has announced the signing of Ugandan midfielder-cum-forward James Ssemambo. The promising player joins the City Stars from Burundi’s Bumamuru Football Club,
James Ssemambo, known for his versatility and attacking prowess, has previously made headlines with his impressive performances at UCU FC, where he was instrumental in winning the university championship. His standout performances earned him the MVP title and made him a joint top scorer with 15 goals. Ssemambo’s career has been guided by his agent Emmanuel Musinguzi under the EGWsports agency, which has helped shape his career trajectory. In addition to his achievements at UCU FC, Ssemambo had a notable stint with Kyetume FC in 2021, where he scored 4 goals during the season.
Nairobi City Stars’ acquisition of Ssemambo is a strategic move to strengthen their midfield and attacking options. He will join a competitive roster that includes seasoned players like Sven Yidah, Elvis Noor Ojiambo, Clifford Ouma, Vincent Owino, Brian Mzee, and Abuyeka Kubasu.
