Wakiso Giants FC Unveils New Signings Ahead of Uganda Premier League Season
Wakiso Giants FC has bolstered its squad with the addition of two new players as they gear up for the upcoming Uganda Premier League season. The club officially introduced Marvin Oshaba and David Bagoole, adding to a growing roster of new faces.
Marvin Oshaba, a dynamic and skillful winger, has signed a two-year contract with Wakiso Giants. Oshaba, who was a free agent after his contract with Express FC ended last season, brings a wealth of experience to the team. His previous clubs include Ibanda Municipal FC and Express FC, where he showcased his impressive pace and attacking prowess.
In addition to Oshaba, the club has secured the services of David Bagoole. The experienced midfielder has committed to a one-year deal with Wakiso Giants. Bagoole’s extensive career includes stints with Busoga United, Jinja North United, and Vipers SC. He is expected to fill the void left by Titus Ssematimba and Marvin Nyanzi, who have departed the club.
The team is also preparing for the season with new coaching staff. Steven Bengo and Tonny Mawejje will be stepping into coaching roles, bringing fresh tactical approaches to the squad.
Other notable new players unveiled include Tevin Kyeyune, Hudson Mbalire, Vicent Zziwa, Derrick Kaija, Issack Mtenga, and Shaibu Mtita, each adding depth and versatility to the squad.
Wakiso Giants FC will kick off their season tomorrow with a home match against Soltilo Bright Stars Football Club at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium. The new signings and coaching staff will be eager to make an immediate impact as the team looks to build on their previous performances.
