Uganda Cranes struck late against Taifar Stars from a solo sublime effort from wonder kid Travis Mutyaba’s sending Benjamin Mkapa stadium into silence in the 89th minute in the African Nations Championship Qualifiers (CHAN).
The Teenager who came on in the second half replacing Milton Karisa showed exceptional brilliance and strength shaking off the Tanzania defender Kibwana Shomari before dancing his way in the 18 yard box and finishing off a sweet left footed strike.
Uganda now holds a slight Advantage with the away win and only needs to Avoid a defeat back home to progress to The African Nations Championship for the sixth time.
Uganda will face the Stars next on the 3rd September, 2022 at St Mary’s stadium
