SUPL:KCCA FC SNEAK PAST UPPC IN ENTEBBE

In a tightly contested Startimes Uganda Premier League match, KCCA FC edged past Entebbe UPPC FC 1-0 at the Entebbe Fisheries Grounds.

The visitors’ lone goal came courtesy of Sammy Ssebadukka, who capitalized on a mistake from UPPC FC goalkeeper Omedwa to find the back of the net.

The first half saw both sides create chances, with UPPC FC’s Ambram Tusuubira and Kigozi testing KCCA goalkeeper Mugolofa.

The visitors also had opportunities through Ijara and Ivan Mayanja, but their shots flew just wide.

KCCA upped their game in the second half, with Ssebadukka and Ahimbisibwe causing problems for the UPPC FC defence.

Ahimbisibwe’s freekick and Ssebadukka’s shot went narrowly wide, but it was Ssebadukka who ultimately made the difference.

With this win, KCCA FC move up to second place with 51 points.
