ANAKU makes his debut as Dundee progress to last 8

Dundee United progressed to the last 8 of the Premier Sports Cup after goals from Steven Fletcher and Ian Harkes sealed a victory in West Lothian.
After reliving Jack Ross of his position as Head Coach Dunde United needed to bounce back with intent and Interim Head Coach Liam Fox made four changes to the side bringing in Charlie Mulgrew, Aziz Behich, Jamie McGrath and Tony Watt in fold.
The coach also had an eye for the Ugandan forward Sadat Anaku starting him on the bench as he waited for his Debut which came in the 85th Minute replacing goal scorer Fletcher. The Ugandan striker looked lively when coming on, winning a few fouls and latching onto second balls.
The 21-year-old penned a two-year deal after a successful trial in Scotland last week which impressed the coach.

Anaku has played in a number of friendlies since arriving in Scotland and scored a hat-trick for United’s B team in a training-ground game against Queen’s Park this week.
