Express midfielder Hussein Ssenoga, Wakiso Giants right back Grant Matsiko, Left back Arthur Kigundu, KCCA FC duo of Muhammed Kagawa Senoga and Filbert Obenchan, Arua Hill center back Bright Vuni, and Cromwell Rwothomio are the players dropped by Uganda Cranes Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic aka Micho.
After spending nine days in a residential camp, Micho has on Thursday morning dropped seven from the squad that is preparing for the 2022 African Nations Championship.
However, Gadafi goalkeeper Abdu Magada and Brightstars striker Nelson Senkatuka are other new faces added to the camp that were not summoned earlier in the provisional thirty eight.
According to fufa.co.ug, the rest of the group will continue with preparations up to Saturday, 31st December when the final travelling squad will be confirmed.
On New Year’s day, the team will travel to Tunisia for another training camp with a number of friendly games lined up.
Uganda is in Group B of CHAN 2022 alongside Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and Ivory Coast
