Vipers Sports Club legends are targeting maximum points against a point-less Tanda- team this Saturday 21st September as ESA Park Agada Cup (EPAC) 35+ returns with group game – deciders.
Match day 3 action, will decide which two teams will progress to the 2024 EPAC 35+ semi-finals with the former Vipers SC stars vying for the second group A slot at the expense of Skynet.
The former Venoms, lost 1-0 to defending Champions on Match-day 1 and defeated Skynet 1-0 on Match-day 2 and seated in the second place, three points behind holders Godfrey Tours and travel.
Skynet in a fight to make it out of the group, will have to defeat Godfrey Tours, that have already made it to the semi-finals and as well pray that Vipers Legends draw or wins with a smaller margin compared to theirs.
Defending Champions Godfrey Tours and this season favorites Public Beach with maximum 6 points from the two outings, are the only sides that have already secured a place in this year’s semis before the Saturday deciders.
In the group B action, ABC and Entebbe Legends are also vying for the other Semifinal slot, Ebb Legends locking horns with bottom placed and point-less Unique in the second last game while, ABC will face off with a high flying Public Beach side in the last game on the day.
The tournament organised by ESA Park Kitubulu for only those aged 35 years and above, have attracted former Superstars; Ex internationals, top Ugandan Coaches, Ex SUPL stars like; Joseph Mutyaba, Coach Samanya, Mike Serumaga, Tonny Odur, Vincent Kayizzi, Dan Wagaluka, Hamis Kitagenda, Ssali Biano Edward, Ayub Kisalita, Yuda Mugalu, Moses Lukyamuzi, Kazibwe, Ahmed Swalleh, Sunday Mukiibi, that play for different teams.
Godfrey Tours & travel beat Semutundu 4-2 to clinch last year’s title, but had eliminated CBICE and FOF at the Quarter final and Semi-final stages respectively.
