Naggalama Town council football tournament organised by friends of Kiwanuka Sulaiman organization, will climax this Sunday 20th August 2023 as Nabbale take on Busabala in the final game at Gonve play ground.
The winner of this tournament that is fully Sponsored by Hon. Kiwanuka Sulaiman, will walk away with a bull, set of jersey and certificates.
The first runner’s up, will be rewarded with Shs 500.000, set of jersey and certificates.
The third placed team, will get a goat, set of jersey and certificates.
The 4th placed team, will also not walk home empty handed, but with Shs 200.000, set of jersey and certificates.
The final will kick off at exactly 3pm, but the day will start in the morning with other activities.
The day will start with a bicycle race dubbed “Tour de Nakifuma” that involves all Nakifuma constituency citizens in the morning and still the winners will be rewarded by friends of Kiwanuka organization.
There will however, be other curtain-raising games before the final, in which Naggalama Police will face Boda Boda Kalagi at 11am and Friends of Kiwanuka will entertain Gonve FC at 12am.
Kiwanuka one of the sponsors of the Masaza Cup tournament, also single handedly funds Kyaggwe in this year’s edition.
For years, Kiwanuka has organised sports events in Nakifuma County with millions of shillings invested in equipment, prizes, and cash rewards.
He is as well constructing the state-of-the-art stadium in Nakifuma to promote sports and help in talent identification and development.
