Cesar Lobi Manzoki has scoffed rumors that the reason his move to Simba has delayed is due to the fact that he still has an ongoing contract with Vipers Sports Club, speaking to BM TV in Tanzania this morning.

People who are saying that i have a contract till 2025 it is not true but i am also aware that Simba has sent in a transfer request to Vipers.

I am aware that Simba SC has already sent a transfer request letter to vipers that is something me and my agent are aware about .

I am also aware that my agent is in negotiations with Simba

 

Manzoki was part of the 21 man squad of Vipers that travelled to Tanzania on Thursday to take part  in an international friendly match to commemorate the Citizens day against Yanga SC.

However to a surprise of many in Tanzania Manzoki did not feature in that game that Vipers won against Yanga Sc with a goal from Milton Karisa and Bright Anukani’s spectacular corner kick goal.

The Congolese striker was asked on why he did not feature in that game.

Regarding that question perhaps I was not feeling well, but Vipers is a big team and am happy we have reached to this level.

According to rumors in Tanzania Simba  faithful believe Manzoki has already cashed in on the move as it was noted  earlier this week  when he shipped his Audi Q6 back to Kinshasa a move that raised eye brows many suggesting that the Simba deal is imminent.

When pressed on that the Congolese striker denied it but gave a positive remark towards that rumor.

Regarding me signing with Simba that I am still waiting for Simba to finalize with Vipers and I know they are speaking to each other and anything in football is possible.

Manzoki is believed to have been offered a record breaking offer to join Simba and when asked about the offer he did not deny it but maintained there is an ongoing talks between Vipers SC and Simba SC.

Simba is a big team and if they are interested in me they should look for me and finalize with my team and agree on the little time remaining on my contract.

Manzoki also collected the UPL 2021/22 season awards taking home a total of 5 awards. He was also voted the Most valuable player.
