FWSL: Nandede Delighted With Winner For Kampala Queens Against UCU to Keep Grip on the Title

Forward Zainah Nandede second half strike ensured Kampala Queens (KQ) bag maximum points in a hotly contested FUFA Women Super league(FWSL) encounter against UCU today Wednesday at IUIU Kabojja play ground.

The speedy Crested Cranes winger, was happy scoring the winner in a very crucial match and his fourth of the season.

She added on Shamirah Nalugya first half penalty goal to win it 2-1 against fellow title contenders.

UCU Captain and Uganda Women football Icon Hassifah Nassuna had given the visitors the lead in the 7th minute and her 100th league career goal.

Captain Nalugya led by example, equalised before the half time mark and Nandede won it for the Queens in the 75th minute.

The win sent KQ joint top with She corporates at 32 points, but the Corporates have a better goal difference(1 goal difference between the two sides).

Else where, in the battle for the title, Favour Nambatya guided the corporates to a much  needed home win a 5-0 humiliation of Olila

Favour bagged a hat-trick, then Grace Nassongo, Noelline Namiro put the icing on the cake for the Corporates to return to top.

Other contenders Uganda Martyrs’s title chances were dented by Kawempe Muslim that held them 1-1. Hadijjah Nandago found the back of the net for Kawempe Muslim and
Shamusa Najjuma scored for the Martyrs.

Rinnes got their third win of the season over She Maroons to brighten their chances of surving the axe.

The 1-0 win over She Maroons, helped Rinnes Jump out of the relagation zone with 13 points.

Lady Doves forward Ikwaput Fazila shinned brightest on match day 15 putting four behind Tooro Queens net.
