Kampala Capital City authority Football club has resigned defender Fillbert Obenchan on a three and a half years contract.
The versatile player has returned to his boyhood club on a long term deal and his new contract will see him at the club untill June 2025.
Obenchan who is a soccer academy graduate at KCCA, previously served for 6 years before running down his contract in May 2021.
Obenchan who enjoys more playing as a right wing back, can also play across all the backline.
He previously spent two years in the KCCA FC soccer academy 2015 -2016 and 2016-2017.
He then featured in the senior team for four years with a loan spell at UPDF Football Club.
Obenchan previously won, 1 CECAFA Clubs Cup, 1 Uganda Cup, 1 Uganda Premier League Title, 2 Super Cups and 1 super 8 cup during his first stint at KCCA FC
Obenchan was also an integral member of KCCA FC’s 2018 CAF Champions League squad.
Obenchan will don shirt 35 during his second stint at KCCA FC according to the club official website Kccafc.co.ug.
