Muganga,Mayanja Return To FBL Entity Busoga United among New Signings.

Busoga United CEO Sir Daniel Gulere Isabirye confirmed the addition of Nine players to the squad at an event held today at Speke courts Hotel in Jinja town.

Former Busoga United FC Captains; Defender Douglas Muganga recovering from a long term injury and forward Mayanja Anthony have agreed to rejoin the club they left to join BUL FC on loan from BUL up to the end of the season.

Among other new arrivals include; goalkeeper Bukyo from URA FC who has joined on a two year contract, Alex Mutataza signed from Iganga Young FC has penned a one year deal.

Hamya Gerald also penned a one year deal form Jinja North FC, defender Franco Balabbala well as forward Amos Kirya have joined on a on short 6 months contract.

Sewava Dan also pens a six months contract from Kiwanga United and experienced defender Kibande Paul joins from Jinja North up to the end of the season.

CEO Sir Daniel Isabirye called upon the clubs fans to come support their team as the fight to get back to the top tier league.

We have captured most of there players on short term contracts, so that we can review if we can add them.contracts at the end of the season. We believe the new signings will have much impact to the club to the next level. And the community should rally behind and support their team. We have two categories of fans; the first one that can for himself a Busoga jersey but doesn’t wish to register as a member but there also others that can as well be members by paying the Shs. 20.000 but I kindly ask you that we all be members, so from this amount, you will recieve a ticket and membership card, and those that will pay Shs 50.000 will recieve a seasonal home ticket, then those that will pay Shs 100.000, will get a jersey and a home season ticket, and those that will pay Shs 250.000, gets a Jersey, home seasonal ticket, and as well can be on the executive that take on the different counties, those that will pay 500.000, will get two Jerseys, and other benefits, then others will pay Shs 1m and lastly those of Shs 5m will get all the other benefits and these one are executive members and can stand as club chairperson. And who will be president must have paid the 5m, the interim executive is helping us for now.” Sir Gulere Isabirye stated.

Busoga United FC under the guidance of experienced gaffer Charles Ayiekho ‘Mbuzi’ in 9th position after the 14 first round games, will visit 10th placed Kaaro Karungi on 9th February 2025
