FBL: Congolese Striker Mbula scores, rushed to hospital in Gadaffi win Against Onduparaka

Kawawa Junior Samuel and Jonathan Mbula scored for UPPC-Gadaffi FC to defeat Onduparaka 2-1.

Congolese Import Jonathan Mbula came off the bench to score the second goal for UPPC-Gaddadi Football club to edge the Caterpillars in the FUFA big League match played on Sunday at Entebbe Works play ground in Entebbe.

Mbula who replaced Kawawa Junior Samuel in the second half, was unfortunate not to finish up the game after he was hurriedly rushed off the pitch by fellow players into the Ambulance to hospital in critical condition after collapsing.

 

However, according to the latest official communication from the club, this site has recieved, – he is steadily improving and Soon getting back to his feet.

 

 

Club star man Kawawa, gave the hosts an early lead in the 2nd minute when he tapped in Duncan Sseninde lay up and Mbula doubled the lead in the 79th minute shortly when he replaced Kawawa.

Dominic Abonga scored the consolation goal in the 82nd minute from the penalty spot after substitute Charles Batibwe handled in the area.

The visitors, got some chances but Williams Gama, big forward Abonga and Samuel Lubangakene- well set up by Ezra Bida, the trio failed to hit the target.

Other hosts chances in the game, fell to Kawawa who was denied by the goalkeeper, Winger Sseninde and Midfielder Lubowa that also failed bury their chances.

UPPC-Gaddafi elevated to 3rd position with 35 points one behind 2nd placed Buhimba United and two behind log leaders Blacks Power FC.

Two relegation threatened sides; Booma and Arua Hill picked up maximum points against Kigezi Home boys and Kaaro Karungi respectively and another releagtion struggler Booma picked up a crucial points at home against Kigezi Home boys.
