Veterans Nasser Kyeyune, Striker Maddie Mukiri Kabuye and Simon Wamala scored the important goals to bag the three points in a very hotly contested encounter.
Anticipated to be an interesting duel, Nkumba Kataka visit neighbours Young boys in Tanda on Sunday.
With their target clear and well set, written on the skies, team head coach Louis Kizito aka Figo points at maximum points in their 2nd game away from home.
” Our biggest target is to earn promotion to regional league but our immediate one is to win every match ahead of us, and it’s the only way we can achieve it. It’s a tricky tie playing against our neighbors that also want to win it to have the bragging rights. I believe we have prepared well to get maximum points away from home which will be a good statement to other teams. Seruwagi will be a big miss who is rulled out but we shall fight for all points.
Veteran forward Kabuye Muhammad Mukiri who was on target in the opening game expressed the team’s readiness to hunt maximum points after the team’s last training session on Friday.
” We have prepared well for the game, we are unfortunate that we shall miss out some important players that haven’t got their licences but we believe that us that are available will do the job because we badly need the three points if we are to achieve our target of earning promotion to regional league. Personally, have played in this league for many years, so I will try to use my experience to help the team that has also some young boys. After scoring my first goal in the first game, I believe I can score per match. So I call upon the fans to love their team. Mukiri stressed.
The team will still be without striker Kiwanuka Edward, defenders Kenneth Mubiru, Bonny Balemba and Abiriga that are yet to be issued with licences.
Experienced midfielder and team star man Martin Seruwagi will also miss out on the trip with an injury that has kept him out of training for days.
