Real Stars Awards: Wakiso Giants Midfielder Kasule Delighted with Double Nomination.

 

Wakiso Giants Football club midfielder Owen Ibrahim ‘Baba’ Kasule is thrilled with the double nomination for the best of the month of November by Real Stars Sports agency and in the StarTimes Uganda Premier league Pilsner monthly awards.

 

The Enterprising midfielder, managed 3 goals and 3 assists for his club in November taking his tally to 4 goals and 4 assists this season.

 

The ecstatic young star, pointed at some key factors behind his good form in the league and looks at the nominations as a motivating factor to continue working harder.

 

” I indeed feel good, motivated, through hard work is the way forward and ofcourse this adds something to the players’ CV and to the team too.”

 

” Making good preparation through out the pre-season and always believing in my self that I can make it, Setting targets as a player because through good performance there are higher chances for the national team, other good clubs abroad and always putting Allah first in everything I do. There is also the good collaboration and understanding with my team mates without them I wouldn’t perform to my best.” Kasule told Sport256.

 

In the Fortebet Real Stars Awards, football category, Owen will tussle it out with teammate Titus Sematimba and Vipers SC hitman Yunus Junior Sentamu.

 

 

” Being nominated with Titus and Yunus is another honour in my life for the accolade and for Titus he is my friend, a brother to me and a teammate. For Yunus, the best proven forward in the league so far, it’s a dream come true in my life and from this, I want to achieve more and more.” He added.

 

Kasule the only name on both (Real Stars Awards & Pilsner monthly awards) lists of final three, feels and believes he is on truck in trying to achieve his goals.

 

Kasule will negotiate his way past Brightstars FC captain Nelson Ssekatuka and striker Alex Kitata if he is to scoop the Pilsner award.

 

 

” I work hard and through hard work everything is possible, being nominated with Nelson and Kitata is a step ahead in my life because they are some of the best players in the league so it’s pleasure to be nominated with them and it means am atleast where I want to be and ofcourse aiming more and more.” Kasule pointed out.

 

Kasule managed 3 goals and 10 assists last season for the purple sharks.

 

The best of November in the different Sport(s) disciplines will be awarded this Saturday, December 10, at the Garden City roof top along Yusuf Lule road.

 

The event will wind-up into the year-ending awards gala, where Real Sports agency will award the best of 2022.

 

The executive director of Real Stars Sports Agency Isaac Mukasa, feels this is the right time to celebrate and dine with the Athletes.

 

Mukasa said, ” The event this weekend is going to be a party with a luncheon to celebrate. Since it is an end-of-year function, there is no better time, to feast by wining and dining with the athletes. The best sportsman or woman will be our Super Star, and we expect it to be exciting, as it is competitive.” the observer noted.

 

Mukasa added that the nominees for the ultimate prize will be selected from the list of this year’s monthly winners.
