USSSA ARUA 2022: Buddo, Kawempe Held As Royal Giant, Kitende Win On The Road.
There was mixed reactions in the Uganda Senior Secondary Schools Association (USSSA) National Post Primary Matchday 5 fixtures as some big boys, bagged maximum points and others held on the road to the knock stage (Round of 16).
So far the team of the competition and as well a serious contender for the title Royal Giants High School from Mityana, stretched their perfect run to 5 wins from 5 games.

The Giants, got a slim 1-0 win over a very resilient West Ville side in the late kick off fixture played at Eruba play ground.
Enterprising winger Shafiq Kakande scored late for Frank Mulindwa to make it 15 points from 5 games and we are yet to see if he can win the remaining two in group C with a big one against Kibuli SS also coming up.
The Mityana district and Mpigi region champions, have so far been the most impressive side in Arua winning all their games scored 11 goals and only conceded once.
The winner between the Giants & Kibuli SS will determine the group leaders though, a draw will be enough for the Mityana based school to lead the group.
Despite a disapointing start for holders St Mary’s Kitende, they registered their third win of the campaign in the five group A outings.
KCCA FC forward Charles Lwanga brace, defender Torach ‘Maguire’ Rogers penalty and substitute Ivan Irinimbabazi goals guaranteed a 4-0 win against Lake side Masese.

On their verge to lead group A, Kitende take on second placed Buremba SS in the Sunday fixture at Mvara SS at 4pm.
Wakiso district champions and 2018 national champions Buddo SS were held 1-1 by Restore Leadership SS in the 9am fixture that was played at the home of SUPL Club Arua Hill SC.
Kampala Region Champions Kawempe Muslim, was also held 1-1 by a winless Janan SS side in the group H fixture.
Kawempe awaits a tough clash against 2017 national Champions Jinja Secondary School to determine who tops group H.
