Alex Kizito steps down as Gomba Ssaza coach

Coach Alex Kizito has officially resigned from his position as Gomba Ssaza first assistant coach before kick off of this year’s edition slated for June 13th 2026.

The CAF B coaching license holder, has decided to throw in the towel, citing contract issues and professional ethics.

Kizito was earlier unveiled at the record winners as first assistant to Felix Kawooya Ssekabuza along with Davis Nnono.

Coach Alex Kizito official release read;

 I wish to formally resign from the position as forst assistant coach h pf Gomba LipnsFC, effective immediately.

This decision has not been easy.However, due to unresolved matters regarding my contract and some differences in how professional issues have been handled, I believe it is the best for both parties that I step down as this time.

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the players, technical team, and management. I learned a lot during my time here, and I value the experience. I remain available to offer a smooth handover, and I wish the team continued success in the seasons ahead.Thanks for the opportunity. He stated
