MASAZA CUP 2026:BUDDU SSAZA MAINTAINS COACH KISUZE AS TECHNICAL TEAM IS UNVEILED

The three-time Masaza Cup winners Buddu Ssaza have unveiled their technical team for the new season earlier today at Ssaza in Masaka.

Coach Eric Kisuze retains his head coach role, with Simon Gitta and Sam Ssekitto as his assistants.

“Our target is to win the trophy. We call on the ssaza fans to join us, and we work together.” Coach Kisuze said.

Buddu last won the Masaza Cup in 2024.

The technical team also includes Magasi Jamada as a goalkeeping coach and Patrick Agapiso Agaba as a fitness trainer.

Patrick Agapiso Agaba also works for St Bernards SS Kiswera.

Pookino Jude Muleke also appointed Joseph Lutaaya as Chairman, Steven Zziwa as Team Manager, and Brian Muwonge as technical director.

Masaka Diocese Bishop Severus Jjumba is the team’s Patron.

Buddu Ssaza will host home games at Kitovu Arena.

The 2026 Masaza season is set to be launched on 10th June 2026 and will kick off on the 13th of June, 2026.

Buwekuula Ssaza FC are the defending champions.
