Exciting teenager Aggrey ‘Mbape’ Nyombi Eye National team Call
Stirring Black Stars Football club teenage winger Aggrey Nyombi is targeting playing for his nation soon with the effort he is injecting in at just the age of sixteen.
Nyombi, a highly rated winger gifted with speed and ability to beat opponents, is a student at St Julian Gayaza and represented his school at the national post primary in Fortportal this year.
The 16 year old, knick-named Mbape after the French star Kylian, draws inspiration from the PSG man and they both share alot in their style of play.
” Am looking at being summoned for any national team under age squad when am still in High school and am working so hard towards that. I feel if I get that chance I can prove my worth as a young footballer.” Nyombi told this site.
” I want in short time to come to advance play in the Uganda premier league and then raise to professional ranks so I believe playing for the national junior sides will help me achieve that as well.” He added.
Now with regional league side Black Stars FC Masanafu, his team narrowly missed FUFA Big League promotion when they were defeated by Kiyinda boys in the Qualifier matches.
Mbappe as his close pals love calling him, comes from a family with some football background, with only his dad Abbey Bikompo who played football to the top level in Uganda with KCCA FC.
Nyombi want to follow the footsteps of his father Bikompo, who also played for Simba SC and the national U-20 team.
Nyombi is an exciting winger with quick feet, comfortable in possession and loves carrying the ball forward. He is a product of Rays of Grace football academy, also attended Mydel, Talent Bridge S.A, Mivule Soccer academy among others.
Earlier speaking to this site, his coach at St Julian Daniel Ssegawa, who recruited him to join the school, had good words for the young star.
” He is a young, skilled, determined, hardworking boy, If he manages him self well, he is a boy to watch in near future and he is destined for greatness, he has what it takes to make it to the top if he remains focused.” Ssegawa stated.
