Vipers SC Complete the Signing of Congolese Player.
Reigning league champions Vipers SC have announced the signing of Congolese Goalkeeper Alfred Macumu Mudekereza on a three year deal.
The experienced 29 year old, joins the venoms on a free transfer after his contract with Congolese side Olympic Club Bukavu Dawa came to an end of last season.
Mudekereza was delighted joining a very ambitious club speaking to Viperssc.co.ug
“I’m feeling very happy; really happy to be here and to work in this great club and Start doing my stuff on the pitch as soon as possible,” he stated.
“I’m very ambitious, l come here to try to win everything, to try to push from the first minute and to make us better.”
“Obviously l want to win more. I come here to fight for all the competitions. We have many competitions ahead – we’re going to fight for everything.”
The former AS Vita goalkeeper brings competition to Vipers goalkeeping department ahead of their busy new season.
Mudekereza, will compete for the starting spot with Burundi goalkeeper Fabien Mutombola.
Vipers will represent Uganda on the continent in the CAF Champions league, and will have the league title to defend and the Stanbic Uganda Cup engagement which they lost in the finals to BUL FC.
