Express Football Club Forward Eric Kenzo Kambale arrived in Sudan to complete a move to Premier League side Al Merrick.
Striker calm winger, now a free agent after his contract at the Wankulukuku based club expired, travelled with his intermediary and Express FC CEO Isaac Mwesigwa and will have a week of trials before the deal can be completed.

Kambale along side Vipers defender Joseph Dhata left the country on Saturday morning and touched down Sudan at 6pm EAT.
According to our reliable source, the Sudanese Giants have been following the duo, and deal is set to be completed this week after examining the players.

The Congolese born forward, has been one of the best players in the StarTimes Uganda Premier league for the past seasons.
He was beaten by Uganda Cranes and Vipers Midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga for league MVP for the previous season.
His 15 goals helped the Red Eagles win the 2020/2022 league title after close to 10 years.
Last season, Kambale banged 8 goals in 24 appearances for the Red Eagles and helped the Eagles win the 2021 Kagame CECAFA Cup, bagging three goals at the tournament.
Kambale scored one of the two goals as the Red Eagles beat Al-Merrikh 2-1 at the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League in 2021 at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.They were however eliminated on away goals rule after losing 1-0 in Khartoum, Sudan. The Touchline Sports noted.
For defender Dhata, who has been sidelined with a knee injury at Kitende for the whole season, he will be subject to examination before a deal can be completed.
