UPL 2025/2026:HOW “THE HUNTER” IVAN AHIMBISIBWE HUNTED DOWN THE GOLDEN BOOT

KCCA FC striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe has claimed the Startimes Uganda Premier League 2025/2026 Golden Boot, finishing as the league’s deadliest marksman with 14 goals.

Nicknamed “The Hunter” for his predatory instincts and clinical finishing, Ahimbisibwe led the line with composure, movement for goals all season.

His tally edged out Entebbe UPPC FC’s frontman Ambrose Kigozi and Vipers SC midfielder Karim Watambala, who both ended on 12 goals.

Kitara FC’s Patrick Henry Kaddu and Vipers’ Usama Arafat finished joint-fourth with 10 each.

The league wrapped up today with Vipers SC clinching their 8th title.

KCCA FC secured 2nd place, with Ahimbisibwe instrumental in their strong finish after joining from URA FC during the transfer window.

This isn’t new territory for the forward.

Last season at URA FC, he netted 16 goals, narrowly missing out on the award to Allan Okello’s 19.
