UFL: University Football League Return-Round Fixtures Revealed
The Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) has confirmed the dates and venues for the second-round group stage fixtures of the University Football League (UFL) 2025/26 season.
Key Fixtures and Group Previews
Action resumes on Tuesday, 24th February 2026, when Group B table leaders Muteesa I University host Bugema University at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo. Muteesa I lead the group with 9 points from three matches, while Bugema University sit on 5 points.
On Wednesday, 25th February 2026, out-of-form African Renewal University will face International University of East Africa (IUEA). Both sides are struggling, having collected just one point each so far.
In Group D, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will host Gulu University at Nakawa on Thursday, 26th February 2026. Bottom-placed MUBS are yet to register a point, while Gulu University are second in the group with 3 points.
Friday, 27th February 2026, sees struggling University of Kisubi (1 point from three games) take on Kampala International University (KIU) at Yes Centre, Nsambya. KIU currently occupy fourth place with 4 points.
In Group E, former champions Uganda Christian University (2019) will visit Makerere University, the group leaders, on Saturday, 28th February 2026. Makerere sit on 6 points, while UCU follow with 4 points.
Group C action continues on Sunday, 1st March 2026, as second-placed YMCA travel to Busitema University in a must-win encounter. Busitema University are yet to collect a point this season, while YMCA have 4 points, three behind leaders Kyambogo University.
Still in Group D, St. Lawrence University will host Lira University at Kavule. Lira remain winless and are searching for their first victory, while St. Lawrence, with 7 points, aim to consolidate their position at the top of the table.
In Group B, Bishop Stuart University will travel to Kabale University on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, seeking their third win of the season. Kabale University are winless but have collected two points from three draws, while Bishop Stuart have 6 points.
