Goalkeeper Farouk Yawe Speaks Out After Signing For BUL FC

Goalkeeper Yawe Farouk expressed his delight after completing his move to the Eastern Giants speaking to Bulfc.co.ug.

The 26-year old shot-stopper signed a two-year contract with BUL FC from Kitara FC a deal that will see him at the Jinja based club until 2027.

I am super excited to join one of the biggest teams in Uganda with experienced coaches and friendly players. am here to realise my targets, as well as those of the club. I want to take this team back to continental football and achieve more success. Yawe stated.

Yawe arrives at BUL with huge experience having featured for Luwero United and Kitara FC.

Club Head coach Abby Kikomeko believes Yawe adds quality and healthy competition to his squad goalkeeping department.

Having played the 2024/2025 season with only one experienced goalkeeper, I didn’t want to risk again this season, thus opting to add Yawe Farouk to my squad.Yawe’s experience, character, and attitude fit our team, and we warmly welcome him at home.Kikomeko told Bulfc.co.ug.

Yawe captained Buddu Ssaza in 2021 and the same year guided Luwero United to the FUFA Big League.
