Uganda Cup Round of 16: UPPC-Gaddafi Welcome holders Kitara, KCCA, BUL Face Minnows.
Gaddafi/ Uganda Printing and Publishing Company limited Football Club will face defending Champions and one-time champions Kitara Football club at home according to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 draws held today.
Allan Kabonge coached side UPPC/Gaddafi fighting to return to the StarTimes Uganda Premier next season, will have a bigger test at this stage facing a 5th placed SUPL side that has it eyes on this title having almost lost the league battle seated 18 points behind leaders Vipers.
The FUFA big league entity, currently with a poor run in form have managed a single win in their last five outings, drawing once and loosing three will take on an in-form Kitara that has only lost to BUL in the last 5 premier league outings managing 3 wins and a draw.
Record winners KCCA FC tied with Express each with 10 titles, will face underdogs Rwenzori Lions and 2022 Champions BUL FC will face less know Total FC at home.
Three-time champions Vipers SC have been drawn against FUFA big league leaders Blacks Power and a place to the quarter finals will be negotiated for at St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
Nine-time (s) champions SC Villa will travel to face fellow SUPL side Lugazi FC and Maroons FC and Police FC will lock horns at Luzira Prisons
The games will be played between 17th and 21st March 2025.
