
Vipers SC Confirm arrival of Cranes Striker From Police FC
StarTimes Uganda Premier League Six -tme champions Vipers SC have confirmed the capture of Uganda Cranes striker Isaac Ogwang from Police FC on the deadline of the January transfer window.
The gangatic forward arrives at St Mary’s Satdium on a two-year deal that will see him at the Kitende based club until January 2027 with an option to extend according to Viperssc.co.ug
The 27 year old joins midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman from Soltilo Bright Stars FC who earlier last month rerurned to the club.
The former SC Villa striker, has been impressive this season, scoring six goals in 13 appearances for Kops a side he leaves in 10th position on the table with 18 points.
Ogwang’s impressive exploits from FBL and first round of the SUPL earned him a Cranes call for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers and scored on his debut against Burundi.
Ogwang was instrumental in Police FC’s promotion back to the top flight, scoring 12 goals to help them win the Fufa Big League title.
The experienced hitman has featured for SC Villa, Kampala Junior Team (KJT), Spartans 09 and Big League side Arua Hill SC.
In chase for the seventh title, Ogwang’s arrival boasts the Venoms’ already rich attack and will negotiate his way into the XI with seasoned hitman Yunus Sentamu, Mohamed Salem,Gusto Mulongo, Kenneth Kimera, and Annest Ankunda.
