Two-times Buganda Masaza Cup Champions Ssingo, Buddu Pooled in Group B.

Two-time(s) Buganda Masaza Cup Champions Ssingo FC and Buddu FC will face off early at group stages level in the 2022 Buganda Masaza Cup tournament according to draws held at Bulange in Mengo.

It has always been a tag of war when these two counties that share four titles between themselves face off at advanced levels of the tournament and this time will face off in group B ties.

According to the draws 2016 and 2018 champions Ssingo FC, will face off with 2016 champions and holders Buddu FC current champions (2021), 2011 champions Buluuli, 2008 champions Kyaddondo, Mawogola and Buvuma in what is referred to as the group of death.

Record holders Gomba have been drawn in group A with last year’s finalists Buwekula that are yet to win the prestigious title, three time(s) winners Mawokota, 2006 champions Kooki, along with under dogs Butambala and Kabula.

Two time champions Bulemeezi (2012 & 2019), seeded in group C, will negotiate their way to the third title but will have to first see off BUSIRO, Kyaggwe, Ssese, Bugerere and Busujju.

Gomba are record champions with five (5) titles on their name and Mawokota a side that last won it nine years ago in 2013, have managed to win three (3) titles.
