UFL:ST LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY AIMS TO EXTEND LEAD AS THEY HOST LIRA

The University Football League is back today and St Lawrence University (SLAU) is looking to strengthen its lead in Group D when it hosts Lira University at Kavule.

SLAU, currently top of the table with three points, aims to build on its winning momentum after defeating MUBS 3-1 in their opening game.

On the other hand, Lira University is struggling to find its footing having lost 1-0 to Gulu University in their season opener.

A win for Lira University is crucial, as a loss would effectively end their campaign.

The current Group D standings have SLAU leading with three points and two goals followed by Gulu University with three points and one goal.

MUBS comes third with also three points and no goal and then Lira University with zero points.

Today’s match promises to be an exciting encounter, with SLAU looking to extend its table lead and Lira desperate to get back on track.
