UPL: KIGOZI THE GOAL KING LEADING THE SCORING CHART
Entebbe UPPC FC Striker Ambrose Kigozi is the Uganda Premier league top scorer after first round that was concluded on Saturday 31st January, 2026.
Kigozi has so far scored eight goals on his name in the Uganda top tier league.
For starters, Ambrose Kigozi previously played for Kiyinda Boyz FC in 2024/25 Big League season where he scored seven goals.
Adding on, Kigozi started the league in goal drought and it took him six games for him to go a scoresheet.
He scored his first goal against newcomers Calvery FC in thier 4-2 away win in Match-Day 6
Joy came on again for Kigozi in Match-Day 8 where he bagged a brace against Eastern Giants BUL FC in thier 2-0 win at Njeru.
Entebbe UPPC striker Ambrose Kigozi went on to score his fourth and helped his team get a point against Mbarara City FC away in Mbarara.

Furthermore, he went on to score another goal in their 2-0 win at home grounds in Bugonga against Express FC.
The other goal was scored by midfielder Nordin Bunjo.
To add on that, he again pushised URA FC after scoring that winner at Nakivubo in Match-Day 12.
UPPC FC travelled to Bombo against UPDF FC and it was Ambrose Kigozi’s lone goal that separated the ties that evening.
Lastly, in Match-Day 15 the top goal machine Kigozi scored his 8th goal of the season against KCCA FC in a highly anticipated game that was played at Lugogo last Friday.
Kigozi sloted into the net a well delivered ball from left back Issa Mubiru to send the UPPC FC fans wild under the floodlights.
Kigozi goals have won 10 points for the Coach Abdallah Mubiru coached side UPPC FC.
Entebbe UPPC FC have scored 17 goals and Kigozi has 8 goals on his name.
On the first round table, UPPC FC finished 2nd with 30 points collected.
Entebbe UPPC FC will play against Express FC at the start of second round on 14th February, 2026 at Nakivubo
