Top Rwandan Volleyball Teams Set for CAVB Club Championship 2025 in Kampala

Rwanda’s top volleyball teams — APR VC (Men and Women), Police VC, and REG VC — are set to depart Kigali today for Uganda, where they will compete in the highly anticipated fifth edition of the ‘CAVB Club Championship 2025’. The tournament will take place in Kampala and will run for a week, drawing elite clubs from across the Eastern region.

The championship will feature teams from six countries — Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi, and South Sudan — battling for regional supremacy. Police VC enters the tournament as the defending champions, aiming to retain the coveted title.

A total of 12 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams have confirmed their participation, promising an exciting and competitive showdown.

APR VC’s squads are scheduled to travel this evening, joining their compatriots, Police VC and REG VC, in representing Rwanda on the regional stage.
