Uganda Cup frontages Round of 32

The Uganda Premier league will take a break A clubs shift their focus to the Stanbic Uganda Cup as the competition enters the Round of 32. The top-flight league will resume on March 1st with Match-day 18, but for now, attention turns to knockout football.

Key Fixtures and Format
This stage of the tournament will see 32 teams battling for a place in the Round of 16, scheduled for March 17-25. Matches remain one-legged, with penalty shootouts deciding any ties that are level after 90 minutes.

Three all-UPL clashes highlight the round:

  • Maroons vs Wakiso Giants – Luzira
  • Police vs Bright Stars – Kavumba Recreation
  • Vipers vs Mbarara City – Kitende

The tournament will progress with quarterfinals in April, followed by two-legged semifinals from May 1-5 (first legs) and May 19-21 (second legs).
