” Am happy with the boys’ performance they really did what I told them and my target is guiding UPPC/Gadaffi to top tier, we have won today but I need three points on Thursday against PBA FC more than the ones we have. but my worry is, some of us coaches are here on ground teaching football and helping the team to earn promotion, other coaches are in class studying CAF A licences and after helping clubs earn promotion, they will come to apply and take over our Jobs.” He stated furiously.
Club president Mr Opio Joseph Okurut who had visited the camp prior to the game with other dignitories from the corporation, welcomed the win with open arms and expressed their desire to continue winning.
” It’s a very good win for us, our anticipation is we want to continue with the lead that we are having, we have to make sure we get any point that can push us to another level, as UPPC/Gadaffi, out dream is just winning, just in this game the boys have done it better and this is our home and no body has come and challenged us here.” He concluded.
Assistant Captain Kawawa Junior Samuel who ran the show, and was team’s best performer on the evening, was a happy lad speaking to Sports256 after the match.
” Am greatful to God, that I created that first goal and it was very important and most importantly the three points. I often do create chances for the team because I believe in myself and also understand my God given abilities, I have the ability to beat more than one opponents. But i want to appreciate the fans that come around to support us everyPCP game. As well the coaches gave me the freedom in training to carry and take the ball to the opponents because I very well know I can beat any player.” He stated.
