EPPL: Leaders NWM Welcome Guda, As ESA & FFA face off in a battle for Survival

 

The ESA Park Premier League (EPPL) action returns with match day 7 games this Saturday 12th August 2023 at the ESA Park turf pitch in Kitubulu.

 

 

 

The five games on the card, will see table leaders Nature waste management (NWM) face bottom placed side Guda in the early kick off at 5pm.

 

 

Guda in a battle to survive the axe, are chasing their second win of the season against a high flying NWM, a side close to lifting the title.

NWM at 16 points, are still unbeaten with 5 wins and a draw, while Guda have three points having only managed a single win in six outings.

 

 

ESA FC and FFA both in a relagation frame, will face off in the late kick off at 10:20pm, in another encounter that is expected to pull attention of the premier league fans.

FFA, 8th placed with 6 points take on ESA (second last) that has only managed 5 points in a do or die clash for either sides.

 

Corporate Brotherhood Investment club (CBICE) with 6 points, also still in the relegation fix, have a tricky outing against Skynet(5th placed), a side that is still hopeful can win the title.

Kayinja (4th placed), with 10 points, tackle Touch Sound in second place with 12 points in another anticipated tough encounter at 18:20hrs.

 

Third placed Public Beach (10) points, face off with Cheetahs(6th place), with just a point separating the two sides.

 

 

 

As Touch Sound, Public Beach Kayinja and Skynet keep eye and are still hopeful can still challenge NWM for the title, Guda, CBICE, ESA and FFA are in thier own race for survival.

 

The last two teams will be relagated to the lower tier and two will be promoted for next season.

 

 

As the table stands.

 

Touch Sound hit-man Isma Kabugu, still lead the net busters with 7 goals and Emmanuel Wasswa of NWM is close behind him with 6 goals.
