Academy Graduate Owen Mukisa Among Five Released at BUL FC.

 

BUL Junior team graduates Mukisa, Cavani, Onyango, striker Ssekulima and defender Madoi are the players released.

 

Bidco Uganda Limited (BUL) Football club have confirmed the release of five players including bug prospect and Academy graduate Owen Mukisa.

 

Midfielder Mukisa, highly rated in Ugandan football, has left the club with fellow junior team graduates – striker Edrine Cavan Mawerere and Herbert Onyango.

 

The other players released include experienced defender and former Vipers and Police left back Aggrey Madoi and striker Paul Ssekulima.

 

Mukisa captained BUL FC in a Uganda cup semi final against Express.

 

He shone to fame when he became the youngest player ever to captain the Eastern Giants and also scored a 26th minute goal against Express that sent BUL to the Uganda Cup final in 2021 at FUFA Technical Centre.

 

Striker Paul Ssekulima who also leaves the club, joined the Eastern Giants in January 2023, but he had mutually agreed to end the contract with the club.

 

Experienced defender Madoi is also leaving the club where he has been since 2020. Madoi has been one of the vital pillars at the team, helping BUL reach the first ever Uganda cup final in 2021 before playing a key part as the Eastern Giants won the competition a year later.

 

BUL used the club website to appreciate the departing players for their efforts and commitment to the club and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
