KCCA FC Midfielder Yassar Mugerwa Linked to BUL
Experienced midfielder Yassar Mugerwa is linked to Uganda Cup champions BUL FC according to this site’s reliable sources.
Negotiation talks between the former Buccaneer and the Eastern Giants have taken bigger strides Sports256 can report.
Mugerwa who was among the players released by KCCA FC at the end of the 2021/22 season, is set to reunite with manager Alex Isabirye if they settle on a few issues left for the deal to be completed.
His contract at Lugogo was terminated after spending a year off his two years and asked KCCA FC to pay for the year left on his contract.
Mugerwa was under Isabirye when they won the FUFA Drum for Buganda province and had earlier worked with him at SC Victoria University.
Yassar having played for URA FC at the continent in the (CAF) Confederation Cup, will be a great addition for Isabirye preparing for the same competition.

Mugerwa played for SCVU, URA FC, Orlando Pirates, St George, Fasil Kenema before joining KCCA FC.
Though there is also interest from another club (name reserved) outside the country, BUL is closer to capturing the gifted midfielder.
If the deal materializes, Mugerwa will be BUL’s 8th signing of this transfer window having already captured winger Dennis Mwemezi from Vipers, experienced striker Frank Kalanda, defender Ronald Otti Ocitti, Emmanuel Obua, goalkeeper Tom Ikara, forward Athony Mayanja and defender Benon Tahomera.
