CAF: Interclub Preliminaries Draw to be announced on Tuesday 09 August 2022

Uganda Premier league Champions and Uganda Cup winners will know there opponents on the continent this Tuesday as CAF will hold its draws for the Preliminary stages.

CAF revealed the road map for qualification in to the group stages with the first leg of the preliminary stage to be played between 9 and 11 September, while the second leg will be played from 16 to 18 September.

While the home matches of the round of 32 of both continental competitions will take place between 7 and 9 October and the away games will be played between 14 and 16 of the same month.

The second round of 32 of the Confederation Cup will be played in two days; the first leg on 2 November, and the second leg on 9 November.

Uganda league champions Vipers Sc who kicked off there preparations on a positive with a win in an international friendly match against Yanga will relish there chances to make it to the group stages this season

Bul FC will participate in continental football for the first time this season have also intensified there preparation mainly in the transfer market with the acquisition of  Frank Kalanda, defender Ronald Otti Ocitti, Emmanuel Obua, goalkeeper Tom Ikara, forward Athony Mayanja and defender Benon Tahomera.

Top seeded clubs on the continent Al Ahly,Zamalek and Wydad Casablanca will participate directly in  from round of 32 because of their high ranking.
