
UG Cup: GK Given Stars as Tooro Eliminate 4th Tier Club 5-Stars in Dramatic Spot Kicks
Tooro United FC ejected Five Stars FC 8-7 in penalties after a goalless draw in normal time to Progress to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32.
Goalkeeper Kenneth ‘Given’ Lukyamuzi saved two penalties for StarTimes Uganda Premier league side Tooro United to eliminate Five Stars FC at Round of 64 in a game played today Wednesday at Entebbe Works play ground.

The Top tier club needed Given’s magical glove to get reed of 4th tier club Five stars FC in an entertaining encounter to storm round the round of 32 stage.
Given saved Five Stars’ 3rd penalty kick by Ashraf Kabenge and also the last by defender Sentongo to win it for Tooro.

Five Stars FC goalkeeper Jackson Kigozi had given the Entebbe based club the lead in Spot-kicks when he saved Tooro’s second kick by Kawooya.
Out of the Nine Spot-kicks, Tooro managed to score nine and The Stars scored Seven (7).

Goalkeeper Kigozi, Steven Bukina, Ivan Semugoma James Ssimbwa, Marvin Sebuliba, Mimi Benjamin, Frank Lubega managed to score their kicks for the hosts.

Hood Kakooza, Apollo Kagogwe, Gerrald Lubanjwa, Edward Kayondo, Julius Pirwort, Isaac Kajubi Mpagi,
Mubuya Simon, Rogers Murungi, Martin Arinaitwe scored theirs for the Super leagurle club.
Before the penalty kicks, midfielder Marvin Sebuliba got the best opportunity for the hosts in the 57th minute but failed to beat goal keeper Given Lukyamizi, when he was set up by left back Timothy.
Nsubuga for the visitors before being substituted, had got the first chance of the game in the 10th minute but his header effort went inches off the mark.
Aggressive forward Frank Lubega made the first attempt for the hosts and substitute Arinaitwe was denied by gaol keeper on along range effort in the 29th minute.
The super division club with just four players on the bench, was forced to make a first half substitution as early as the 17th minute, Arinaitwe who was impressive when he came on for the injured Nsubuga who had collided with goal keeper Jackson Kigozi.
Five Stars FC head coach Moses Lukyamuzi introduced Remigius Semugoma for Mukiibi half time something that tactically worked for the former KCCA FC player.

Many opportunities fell to energetic forward Frank Lubega, but was wasteful infront of goal.
Off the pitch, there were match fixing allegations with audio and pictures being shared in different whatsapp groups, after three people; Abraham Luzzi and two other (names reserved) for now, that had brought money to Five Stars FC goal keeper Jackson Kigozi and were arrested by Police and had a night at Abaita Police station cells.
” They first called me and when i knew what they were doing was anti-football, and i started recording them, they had earlier wanted me to go to Kampala something i refused, but then, they came and on meeting them, they told me, they wanted me to get a red card and they wanted more than five goals and that’s how they were arrested because on meeting them we had come with Police officer.” Kigozi told Sports256 in am exclusive interview.
