UFL:DEFENDING CHAMPIONS UGANDA MARTYRS UNIVERSITY TO FACE MUTEESA I ROYAL AS QUARTERFINAL DRAWS REVEALED
The University Football League quarterfinal draws have been held today.
Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi will lock horns with Muteesa I Royal University.
UMU is the defending champion, and they progressed as the best loser in Group A, which was topped by Kampala University.
They collected 11 points from three wins and two draws.
Muteesa I Royal University topped Group B with 12 points, having four wins and 1 loss.

Next up, Kumi University will face YMCA.
Kumi were also the best losers from Group E with 11 points, having 3 wins and 2 draws.
YMCA were table leaders of Group C with 8 points, having 4 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses.
They will have a hard task versing Kumi, who have been giant killers in this University Football League league season.

Meanwhile, Group A leaders Kampala University will tussle it out with Bugema University in a highly anticipated fixture.
Bugema University came as best losers in Group B with 11 points, 3 wins, and 2 draws.
Kampala University topped Group A with 13 points, with 4 wins and 1 draw.
Lastly, Ndejje University will face St Lawrence University.
St Lawrence University advanced from Group C unbeaten, winning all their three group games.
Ndejje University needed a must-win at home against Makerere University to advance to this stage.
They topped Group E with 11 points, having 3 wins and 2 draws.
